The Globalist Rules of War

Because of the rise of NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani the protest chant “globalize the intifada” has come into the headlines. Because Mamdani, an educated fahionable with a premium membership in the woke elite, has broadcast the said slogan on social media.
So, why is it scandalous for Israel to make war against the non-state proxies of Iran but not scandalous for the various factions of the intifada to make war on Israel. War is war, right Kemosabe?
Before going any further let us make clear the meaning of the word, from Google Search AI:
The term "Intifada" is an Arabic word that translates to uprising, rebellion, or shaking off in English. It is derived from the Arabic word nafada, which means "to shake" or "shake off".
In other words, we are talking about a sub-state actor making war against a state. War is War, right, Kemosabe?
Not in the minds of our august rulers in the worldwide educated class. But why?
For me, this all started with our beloved US President Woodrow Wilson who, after campaigning for reelection on the slogan “He Kept Us Out Of War.” went to war on the slogan of “making the world safe for democracy.”
Do you see the point? We weren’t going to war against the bloody Hun and the German nation state. No indeed. This wasn’t a war of one nation state against another nation state. Or even an alliance of nation states against another alliance of nation states. Oh no. We wise overlords were going to save the world.
And after the wat was over, with the US doughboys making the difference on Flanders fields, we were going to end war forever with the League of Nations.
Only we didn’t. What was the problem, President Wilson? Well, of course. By the end of the war you were non-biden mentis as we now say, and your loyal wife Edith was Acting President. That was before the modern era of the Autopen. What with the patriarchy and the subjection of women since the dawn of time, how could she be expected to make good on your humble promise to make the world — the whole world — safe for democracy.
Ever since, our educated overlords have conducted business on the idea that the nation state is illegitimate, and that non-state political action against nation states is legitimate, and the nation-state action against sub-state actors is illegitimate. Nation-state action against activists, militias, and mostly peaceful protest is fascism and nation-state action against the civilians under the charge of sub-state actors is genocide.
So, World War II wasn’t so much a war against Germany, Italy, and Japan as a war against Nazism, fascism, and military dictatorship. The Cold War wasn’t so much a war against the Soviet Union as a war against Communism. And the various wars of regime change since the end of the Cold War have been all about saving the world for democracy.
Really, it’s pretty ingenious. It puts the global educated class in the right — on everything — and anyone not on the global team in the wrong. Thus Palestinians are helpless victims and the the people of Gaza under the rule of Hamas are victims of Israeli genocide.
Truth is, all civilians under any regime are helpless victims. This was brought home to me by Jeffrey A. Tucker writing about an annoying humiliation he suffered during the late COVID unpleasantness. Late in 2021, well after anyone with half a brain could see that the mask mandates were a fraud, he was ordered to put on a mask at the met counter of his favorite grocery store. Enraged, he stopped shopping there. But years later he returned to the store and complained to the manager. That’s when he found out that the store had been beset from all sides, from governments of all kinds enforcing mask mandates, to customers turning the store in to the various governments for perceived violations of the mask mandates.
In other words, if you don’t get with the government’s latest mandate to save us all from the latest crisis, it could cost you your business, your job, your bank account if you are a Canadian trucker, even your freedom for a naughty tweet against Mother Superior Clinton.
If you are a resident of Hamas-ruled Gaza, you better support the regime and flood the streets in protest when ordered and house an Israeli hostage when ordered. Or else.
Yes, but whatabout Germans in Nazi Germany? Or Russians in the Soviet Union? Or Cubans in Castro’s Cuba? Whatabout the guards at the internment camps for Japanese Americans in World War II? Whatabout the Allied pilots that bombed Dresden — let alone Nagasaki and Hiroshima?
Truth is that war is war, and in war the leaders do whatever they think is going to get a step closer to victory and they order the peasants to get with the program. Blowing up underground tunnels? Carpet bombing? Internment camps? Slave labor camps? Death camps? Whatever. And if you don’t get with the program, well, we have ways of making you obey. And all governments, all rebellions, all leaders of mostly peaceful protests are playing the same game. And the Solzhenitzyns that refuse to go along? They are the Sacrificial Heroes, sacrificed on the border between Chaos and Order. But most of us are cowards. We let the other guy be the Sacrificial Hero.
Our liberal friends have had a pretty good run at pretending that their kind of war is just about saving the helpless victims from the nation-state capitalists, Nazis, fascists, racists, sexists, homophones, xenophobes, settler-colonialists, billionaires and all the rest of the modern Monsters of the World, and nothing, absolutely nothing to do with educated-class power and status.
One fine day, their record-breaking run will come to an end. The same is true of every magnificent hit that has had the audience cheering in the cheap seats.
I wonder if the curious case of Zohran Mamdani claiming to be black on his university application is the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
Who knows? We should ask the priests of the Sacred Temple of Race Victims for their holy judgement based on cloistered lifetimes of studying the Progressive Race Scriptures. This could be sacrilege. Or maybe not. Only the priestly experts can tell us.
Meanwhile, you educated snobs, know that the coming age is age of the middle class, people that live and work and marry and raise children and are not that interested in power. The tribe of the middle class is the nation. That’s why nations arose as the middle class came into self-identity during the transition from the rural society to the city society of industry and commerce. You educated lords, in your educated conceit, thought to replace this society with the global society of educated administrators, regulators, activists, and NGO grantees.
But you have failed and now it is time for you and your social and political and economic fantasies to be hooked off the stage as in the good old days of Vaudeville. You had a good run. But now it is time to go, and let the rest of us live our lives in peaceful tranquillity, punctuated, of course with the occasional creative disruption.
