Thank You Dear Lefties

for reminding us that we need a spot of decolonization

They say that a lot of lefties are trying to demolish Thanksgiving because of colonization. You know: 1620 and the Pilgrims arrive in Massachusetts.

And today a lot of young educated women are protesting against “militarism,” “colonialism” and for “Liberation for Palestine and planet” and disrupting the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.

I have a female acquaintance that I use to tell me what is the current Thing. Because I believe that educated women are like stud-finders. They point exactly to where the ruling class is today.

Is the ruling class really pro-Palestinian these days?

Thank you, young ladies. I had no idea.

My big idea right now is that the big difference between men and women in that women are down with the latest word from on high. While men tend to be kinds skeptical. Why is this? Well, women “expect to be protected.” You want protection? Then you must go with the program, ladies.

You do realize, ladies, that the worst colonization movement since the beginning of time is the ideological colonization of America by lefties.

Yeah, I bet you never thought of that. Because it’s not The Thing.

But really, has there been a more ruthless imperial conquest in history than the lefty conquest of the public square in America in the Woke Age? I suppose you could say that the ideological war of the Spanish Inquisition in Spain and Portugal after the reconquista might measure up. And nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.

Hey, at least the Spanish Inquisition had an excuse. The Christians had just “decolonized” the Iberian peninsula after 500 years of the rule of the Moors. So the “decolonizers” never knew if some innocent householder was really a Muslim terrorist. Better be safe than sorry with a bit of interrogation and torture.

But our ruling class, the educated class of the Enlightenment, has colonized us ideologically and culturally since whenever and colonized us politically for about a century.

I’d say that maybe it’s time for a bit of decolonization from the hegemony and oppression of the educated class.

It’s odd, isn’t it, how our lefty friends are all goo-goo about First Nations and indigenous culture. But they have no compunction at all to uproot and demolish the indigenous culture of ordinary middle-class white Europeans, whose Christian culture goes back two thousand years.

And, of course, the bottom line is that the rule of the educated class is in a spot of trouble right now. Not because of some frightening insurrection on the order of the Mongol invasion of Europe. No, the only problem is the emergence of a few populist politicians like Trump and Farage and Milei and Wilders who really haven’t done anything yet.

I mean, it’s not like all those populists are planning to turn things upside down. Not like the educated class that decided to turn capitalism upside down with socialism, or replace mutual-aid societies with gubmint welfare programs, and replace Christianity with the worship of dictators.

I just don’t get it, but I am sure that you lefties know best.
