Another Day, Another Lefty Assassination

because violence is inherent in the leftism

On the day after a lefty activist type Elias Rodriguez allegedly murdered two Israeli diplomats at the Capital Jewish Museum, let us understand what is going on. It is not unexpected. It is politics on auto. It is just standard lefty politics going back to the French Revolution.

• The fundamental belief of the Enlightenment was that reforming society would lead to a juster world.

• There is no politics without an enemy.

• Injecting politics into reform leads to assassinations and civil war.

• Injecting morality into politics leads to religious war.

If you are a lefty activist right now, the world is upside down. You have been taught from K thru grad school that activism and organizing and peaceful protest leads to a juster world. It is your saving faith, that activism and organizing and peaceful protest will lead to a better world. Yet here is Trump, the white oppressor lording it over the helpless victims. Here is Israel, the Jewish nation lording it over the helpless Gazans. At some point Casca says “Speak, hands for me” and the knives come out.

That is why the French Revolution ended in the Reign of Terror. The Revolution was supposed to make a better world. But it didn’t get better. So letś kill the traitors.

That is why the Bolshevik Revolution ended in the Great Purge. The Five Year Plans were supposed to transform Russia into a communist paradise. Instead it resulted in the Ukrainian Famine. So let’s kill the saboteurs and wreckers.

That is why the Maoist Revolution in China ended in the purges of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution. The Great Leap Forward was a catastrophic failure leading to the Great Chinese Famine and deaths between 15 and 55 million. So it must have been the fault of the Four Olds.

That is why the Progressive century in the United States is ending in woke oppression and assassinations. The cock-up of the Crash of 1929 and the failure of the New Deal and the failure of the Civil Rights movement — not to mention the failure of welfare programs to help the poor out of poverty and the failure of government education to educate the illiterate — could not have been the fault of the progressive faith. It had to be the white oppressors and the racist-sexist-homophobes of which we’ve heard tell. And if elections and fixed elections and brain-dead presidents don’t solve the problem then it’s time to up the ante.

So it really isn’t suprising that there have been two assassination attempts on President Trump. And that there has been an assassination of a health-care executive. And that an alleged bearded twerp from Activism Central in Chicago should decide to assassinate two Israelis at the Capital Jewish Museum. And by the way, this is personal to me because I know a woman that serves on the board at the museum.

There is no politics without an enemy.

And when the enemy refuses to lie down, what yer gonna do?

But let’s get back to the basic notion in the Enlightenment. Reforming society.

I wonder if there is a way to reform society without resort to politics.
